DataGen Scholars Program:
Transforming Futures

The only program in the world designed to prepare high school students for a future where data analytics and generative AI rule!

Unlocking the potential of tomorrow's workforce!

DataGen Scholars is a 12-month virtual program that empowers students with essential data analytics and generative AI skills. This program levels the playing field, providing opportunities for students to excel in a data-driven world.

Our goal for this year is to enroll 1,000+ high school students from disadvantaged communities worldwide, with 125 students already enrolled from the US, Columbia, Ireland, Nigeria, India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Component Details

By participating in live virtual webinars hosted by the SaNDAI team, scholars will gain essential knowledge in ten generative AI technologies and explore ten key AI ethical practices. They will also attend additional webinars focused on career readiness, which will provide them with the tools and insights needed to navigate the evolving landscape of AI responsibly and prepare for future career opportunities.

Component Details

Through our partnership with DataCamp, scholars will deepen their understanding of data analytics and AI technologies through 14 self-guided courses using DataCamp’s extensive online course catalog. After completing these courses and successfully passing two relevant exams, scholars will earn two foundational certifications, solidifying their expertise in these areas.

Scholars in the DataGen Scholars Program receive paid, hands-on experience that allows them to apply their newly acquired skills in practical, real-world scenarios. This invaluable opportunity bridges the gap between learning and professional application, equipping scholars with the confidence and competence to tackle real-world challenges.

For US-based scholars, this experience comes with the potential to earn up to $8,000 annually, while international scholars can earn up to $1,000 annually.

Component Details

Scholars will obtain an industry-recognized Data Analyst, Scientist, or Engineer certification offered via DataCamp. These certifications are globally recognized and validate proficiency in critical data skills such as Python, R, SQL, machine learning, and data visualization.

Earning these certifications enhances scholars’ resumes and prepares them for competitive roles in the tech and data industries, positioning them as future leaders in a data-driven world.

Goodbye to traditional classrooms and hello to learning on the go! Scholars access everything needed for the program via their phone.

The DataGen Scholars phone app is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, making learning easy and convenient for scholars. Scholars dive into a world of knowledge anytime and anywhere they desire, and unlock their full potential with just a tap of a finger!
